...Helen Van Rees...

While my mind is still submerged in the silicone puddles & dreamy misunderstood tweeds viewed at Helen Van Rees' Fashion Scout London Fashion Week presentation, photography perfectly captured the serene setting in a moment of memory.

Given the opportunity to interview Helen Van Rees, I discovered her ongoing Chanel-esque tweed inspiration combined with a modern experimental twist of textiles. The 20s & 30s silhouettes lept from past eras into the future seamlessly through textural contrasts & compliments...

...Models held silent poses in the room flowing with bloggers & bright flashes...

...Silicone panels hang delicately like raindrops from the 20s hemlines...

...Anti-clockwise around the room, each model floated from a silicone lily pad to the next, their shoes accessories to each outfit...

...Models frozen in the moment created the perfect angles for photographers & illustrators...

...The super-blogger Susie Bubble interview the designer herself while supporting up-&-coming designers through her ootd...

...Mico-tweed jackets mix up the contemporary proportions of expectations...

...Loosely woven pastel hues drape naturally under the weight of white tip-ex strips...

...Pairs of hauntingly beautiful models rotate to match another from moment to moment...

...White-on-white still lingers as a trend for next S/S, giving us hope throughout the seasons...

...Jewellery designer & blogger, Magpie on the Run, spotted my *made by me* necklace, fitting in to the featured hues, & featured in it her LFW blog...
