MeetMeAfterHours

Occasion: Casual drinks after a working day...
Situation: A quick change out of work-wear into a cool evening outfit

My Outfit Recipe [Let's take it from the top & break it down]...
  • Mint green draped peplum blouse *used to be my Nanny's*
  • Light wash denim jeans [Levis]

Accessorize my Life...
  • Black Cat-eye sunglasses [vintage]
  • Raffia & black patent clutch bag *chairty shop find* [Originally from Mango]
  • Black suede & perspex heeled strappy sandals *shoe pick of the moment* [M&S]

Sean's Outfit Recipe [Let's take it from the top & break it down]...
  • Light denim shirt [Topman]
  • Black skinny jeans [Levis]

Accessorize My Man's Life...
  • Blue suede trainers *retro inspired* [Office shoes]
  • *lamp-post optional*

It is the best feeling knowing your finishing the working day early for once & not heading home for dinner in the dark. So I wanted to make the most of this rare occasion by slipping into a cool outfit for some after-hours drinks with friends. I kept my outfit to complementary pastel tones, toughening the look from not being too sweet by adding darker accessories, nodding to the impending night-time. The loose peplum & asymmetric drape on the vintage blouse my Nanny originally wore, made for light breezes to cool my temperature after a warm working day. Skinny jeans help streamline the billowing blouse, by complementing proportions, leading ones eye to statement heels made to strut in. With Sean also supporting the light look, he combined the denim shade of his shirt with the pop of blue from his trainers to add interest. Again toughened up with the deep tone of his jeans & swept-back quiff, he looks ready to rock'n'roll the night away...T-Bird style!
